Let's Grow Together Ten3 is not a single global portal. It is a global network of unified business portals, each of them providing comprehensive services tailored to specific business environment in their area. The global Ten3 cross-sectoral portal (www.1000ventures.com) would service businesses with global and cross-regional operations. It would also provide the general business coaching service that would apply to almost any fast-growing business independent of its location. Most businesses have local operations only. These would be served by domestic (national, state-level, or district-level) Ten3 portals. Domestic portals, with support from the Ten3 team, would develop specific business coach components, databases, business communities, and business links tailored to local conditions. Whenever required, domestic portals would be developed in both local language and English. Multi-lateral (regional, sub-regional, bi-lateral) Ten3 portals would service intra-regional and bi-lateral business projects and develop specific content and enabling environment for their clients. Global Expansion Schedule Development of Ten3 multi-lateral and domestic portals will start from Asia and the Pacific. The regional portal is being developed by the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT). Domestic portals will be initially developed in 5 selected countries. This work will start in the first quarter of 2002. Expansion of the network to the Northern America and Europe is planned for the second half of 2002. Multi-lateral and domestic portals will be initially developed in cooperation with few selected organizations. Development of Ten3 sub-regional portal for CIS countries and national portals for Egypt and Russia is also planned for 2002. Investment & Return on Investment The picture on the left shows financial projections made for the global portal 1000ventures.com. Evaluations for geographical portals should be done individually. It is estimated that development of geographical portals would require considerably smaller investments as the product does not need to be developed from scratch, but it needs to be adapted to the local conditions. Ten3 would provide a consultant to assist in developing cross-pollinated local content for the multi-lateral and domestic portals. Franchising fees would depend on the geographical coverage of the portals. Significantly reduced promotional rates would be used for 2002. Are You Interested?
